Galvanomagnetic coefficients of the two-dimensional (2D) electron gas in In0.53Ga0.47As quantum wells are studied for classical magnetic fields by an iterative solution of the Boltzmann equation considering the degeneracy of the distribution function. Scatterings from polar optic phonons, deformation potential acoustic and piezoelectric phonons, inonized impurities, and alloy disorder are considered. The magnetoresistance coefficient is found to be more sensitive than the Hall mobility and the Hall ratio to changes in temperature, 2D carrier concentration, channel width, ionized impurity concentration, and magnetic field.
