摘要
In this paper stimulated back-scattering of surface electromagnetic waves at an interface fluid layer-vacuum by surface ripple waves is considered. The excitation of the ripple waves is ensured by ponderomotive forces resultant from the two interfering surface electromagnetic waves - pump and signal. Stimulated scattering thresholds and signal wave amplification depending on fluid layer parameters and frequency, are calculated in a kinematic approximation where the signal wave amplitude can be assumed as small compared to the amplitude of the pump. The applicability conditions of the results obtained are also found.
