TRANSITION RADIATION OF NONSTATIONARY WAVES BY AN ELECTRON BUNCH THAT CROSSES A TWO-DIMENSIONAL ELECTRON GAS

摘要：
Transition radiation of nonharmonic nonstationary pulses by an electron bunch that crosses a two-dimensional electron gas at the interface of two plasma media has been investigated. The Poynting vector of the lowest nonstationary harmonic is calculated. It has been shown that the information about properties of a two-dimensional electron gas may be obtained by the analysis of a leading front of the resulting signal.
