摘要：
Some new chemical properties of 4,5,12,13-tetrakis(methoxycarbonyl) [2.2]paracyclophane and [2.2]paracyclophane-4,5,12,13-tetracarboxylic acid bisanhydride have been investigated through reaction with some nucleophilic reagents. The results indicated that the nucleophiles most likely reacted with one half of the paracyclophane molecule, which confirms that the two halves of the tetraester are reacting interdependently with the nucleophiles.
