摘要
Distance education was established as an educational modality due to its strong educational potential almost always combined with forms of low cost. By prioritizing exclusively the economic plan, the school administrations have greatly prejudiced its image in relation to face-to-face education and mainly teachers' condition. Distance teaching is an attractive and harmful modality of work for the teacher or tutor. Employment contracts in distance education are signed precariously, with low remuneration combined to excessive work activities. The working conditions and remuneration undervalue teaching in distance education. The methodology used in the study was the theoretical-bibliographic and documentary research.
