摘要：
The actual knowledge about FIV is reviewed in this article. The viral characteristics, epidemiology, Pathogenesis, clinical aspects, diagnostics, treatment and vaccination are described. Some important data concerning the infections in Belgium are reported. Zoonotic aspects and the use of FIV as research model for the study of AIDS are discussed.
