摘要：

In this study 368 red mullet individuals captured during January 2002-August 2003 from Gulf of Antalya and properties of growth and were estimated. The age composition of red mullet population have been changed between 0-VI, II. and III. age group have been formed majority of population. The population was composed of 44.29 % females and 55.70 % males. The total length and total weights of red mullet samples varied from 8.8-22.3 cm and 7.2-135.2 g. Growth parameters, belong to von Bertalanffy growth equations have been found for females and males respectively. L infinity=30.3, W infinity=336.5, k=0.104, t(o)=-4.465 and b=3.077; L infinity=24.2, W infinity=132.5, k=0.105, t(o)=-5.618 and b=3.321.
