摘要：
The Total Systems Intervention (TSI) meta-methodology has previously been described, in this journal, by its creators, Flood and Jackson. This paper describes one of the first applications of the methodology by a "second-generation" user. In particular, it provides a description of the problem situation and an account of how TSI was used within it. A Research Note to be published in the next issue of this journal will provide a critique of TSI, in the light of the author's practical experience.
