摘要：

We report 2 cases of vaginal evisceration after prior pelvic surgery that were treated in our hospital during a 4-month period. The first case of vaginal evisceration occurred in a woman who, 6 years previously, had undergone vaginal hysterectomy and conventional anterior and posterior plasty with recurrent rectocele. The second case of vaginal evisceration occurred in a woman who had undergone total mesh insertion 5 years previously, followed by vaginal hysterectomy one year later. (C) 2012 Elsevier Espana, S.L.
