摘要
The present investigation attempted to determine the relationship between creativity and physiognomic perception. Physiognomic perception has been defined as the tendency to apply human-like characteristics to objects. Eighty-two female and 65 male undergraduate university students completed the How Do You Think Test, a creative personality inventory, and the Physiognomic Cue Test (PCT). Overall, creativity was found to be significantly related to a total score for physiognomic perception. Furthermore, creativity was also found to be significantly related to physiognomic-feeling, a subscale of the PCT. No relationship was found between creativity and another subscale of the PCT, physiognomic-thing perception. © 1990.
