摘要：

This contribution discusses political affiliation of South Park series. The author contends that the political sensibilities of both South Park and its creators align most clearly with a Generation X world view - one characterized by political cynicism, apathy, and disengagement. Becker's chapter asserts that South Park is politically inconsistent and includes simultaneously radical, reactionary, and non-or apolitical leanings that relate intimately to the political worldview of Generation X.
