摘要：

Today more and more mills are investing in additional capacity to generate chlorine dioxide. A number of ClO2 generation technologies are in use in North America today. Modern technology for chlorine dioxide generation offers a means to resolve some of the problems in the older technologies. Today's options include conventional, nonintegrated, methanol-based systems and integrated systems that include a chlorine dioxide generator, a chlorate electrolysis unit, and a unit for hydrochloric acid synthesis. Each process has advantages and potential disadvantages.
