SOLID-STATE NUCLEAR TRACK DETECTORS IN RADON MEASUREMENTS INDOORS AND IN THE SOIL

摘要
Kodak LR115-II is very useful in the detection of alpha particles from disintegration of radon and radon daughters. Radon measurements were performed indoors and in the soil in a project supported by the local health authority. The aim of the investigation was to find areas with increased radon levels in the soil and identify houses with high indoor radon levels. Details of the methodology are discussed. The result of the radon measurements is based on 75 measurement in the ground and on 74 indoor measurements.
