摘要
A microstrip phased antenna array constituted by the association of two kinds of single-layer rectangular patches is presented. The frequency bandwidth of such an antenna is larger than that of usual single-layer microstrip arrays. This antenna is made of two imbricated triangular grid arrays. The first array is fed, and the second is parasitic. The theoretical study is achieved from an infinite biperiodic array with stacked elements, in which the upper array is first translated, and second, brought back in the same plane as the lower array. The coupling effect between patches, which leads to an increase of bandwidth, is then taken into account.
