摘要：

From 5% to 30% of congenital diaphragmatic hernias present in the post-neonatal period and are often misdiagnosed as pneumonia or pneumothorax. The prognosis is favorable in cases without bowel incarceration. Surgical cure of a strangulated Bochdalek hernia in a 22-month-old girl is described.
