Examination of the optic fundus can be a useful indicator of systemic disease. A method is described for fluorescein angioretinography of selected handicapped infants and children. Instances of tuberous sclerosis, maternal rubella syndrome, Hand-Schüller-Christian disease, heredomacular degenerative disease, late infantile amaurotic idiocy, and Tay-Sachs disease are given to illustrate this means of recording alterations of structure. © 1969 The C.
