ARTIFICIAL INDUCTION OF LABOR BY INTRAVENOUS-INFUSION OF OXYTOCIN - A REVIEW OF 100 CASES

摘要：
Induction of labor was attempted on one hundred women using an infusion of oxytocin. All attempts were carried out after electronic monitoring, using a preestablished dosage schedule. Artificial rupture of the membranes was performed only after progression of labor. Overall success rate was 81 %. Fetal and maternal morbidity in these cases was similar to that seen in the population at large.
