摘要
It is shown that the insulating oxide Fe2TiO5 exhibits anisotropic (uniaxial) spin-glass behavior below 55 K. Extensive experimental results supporting this conclusion, including principal magnetic susceptibility, neutron scattering, ultrasonic, specific heat, and oriented single-crystal Mössbauer measurements, are described. © 1983 The American Physical Society.
