摘要：

Describes a new univariate vocational maturity (VM) scaling. The VM scales, sex, socioeconomic status, and IQ are related by multivariate analysis of variance technique to a set of career-tree-structure variables from 111 Ss observed at 2-yr intervals over 9 yr. It is concluded that VM is related to career development in ways that complement the relations of sex, socioeconomic status, and IQ; and the univariate VM scale can be substituted for 8 earlier VM scales.
