摘要
Structure positioning is a special type of inverse problem where the only unknown parameter is the position of a given structure. Present methods find the unknown distance in several iterations by computing the direct field problem at every step. The paper introduces a novel concept which solves the inverse problem without iterations within the computation time of one direct problem. This is demonstrated on a geophysical example using Trefftz elements as a kernel method.
