BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE SYSTEM AND DECISION SUPPORT OF ECONOMIC MANAGEMENT AT THE UNIVERSITY OF HAVANA

Information is seen as a strategic resource within the organizations that leads to the achievement of the goals and objectives. It is very necessary to have an information system that manage and integrate the appropriate information, in an efficient and efficient manner, in the most feasible way, with a view to achieve the development of functions, and make appropriate decisions. This article intends to lay the foundations for the design and implementation of a System of Support for the Decisions of Financial Economic Management of the University of Havana, as a fundamental element of Business Intelligence. The background of the research is presented and for a better understanding it deals with theoretical aspects related to the subject, the existing technologies, the methodologies for the analysis and design are characterized more information systems used at international level. Finally, the Phases are proposed for the design and implementation of the Information System of Financial Economic Management of the University of Havana. The conclusions and bibliography consulted are shown.
