摘要
Optical spectra in the 1. 5 to 3. 2 eV range are studied in the layered compound WSe//2 by wavelength and temperature-modulated reflectivity, as well as by modulated photovoltaic effect from 4. 1 to 300 K. The selection rules for optical transitions in WSe//2 are deduced, and the spectra are interpreted with the help of the known band structure of the isomorphous compound MoS//2. The parameters of the A exciton series are determined, and the temperature shift of the main spectral structures is studied. This material has possible applications as a superconductor.
