摘要
Mossbauer effect, electron spin resonance, and electrical conductivity measurements were performed on a sodium silicate glass containing iron. The glass composition was (in mol%) 40SiO2, 60Na2O and 1-6Fe2O3. The amount of iron accommodated in different site positions was determined for each composition. The radial and angular distortion parameters have been deduced from a calculation based on Newman's superposition model. A correlation between the behaviour of iron and the magnetic and electrical properties was proposed.
