The dependence of the qualification parameters in the thermoforming and sealing processes are described for the production of blisters. The PVC film can be uniformly heated, as shown by the IR photographs. The die plate is extremely important in terms of temperature compensation. In the sealing process, the interactions between the temperature display, sealing roller temperature differences and the activation temperature of the adhesive, between which there were previously inexplicably large differences, have been resolved. The importance of the forming and pressing loads were shown for both process; this is of considerably greater importance for the forming process than for the pressing load of the sealing roller.
