摘要：
Using examples of several recently constructed Japanese "ribbon bridges", the very idea and the present development tendencies of such structures have been discussed. Some reference to the relevant European development in the past has been done. The purpose of this paper is to bring that idea near to the Polish specialists in design of modern bridge structures.
