摘要
In Table Tennis, the physical preparation of athletes has taken great relevance given the characteristics of play, where changes of direction and speed of the ball generating the need for adequate and effective response and short time, that part from the lower body of athletes. Aim: evaluate the various manifestations of the strength of lower body in a total of twenty college athletes of Tunja-Colombia. Method: The Bosco Protocol was used, with squat jump (SJ), holy countermovement (CMJ), squat jump with 100% of body weight (SJI), Abalakov (ABK), and drop jump (Dja 40cm). Results: results indicate that athletes have 60% of contractility, 12% elastic capacity, 12% contribution of arms, 6% of reflection component, and 10% of capacity recruitment and synchronization fibers. Conclusion: results serves to compare with established profiles of top players. The relative strength of athletes speed was low, indicating that fibers are not early activation that are necessary in modern table tennis.
