摘要
This paper aims to compare the concepts of memory and double grounded in theories of difference and repetition of Deleuze (2006) and apply them in the analysis of the novel "A menina morta", by Cornlio Penna. We understand that the memory in this romance transgresses the history official discourse of Brazil and the national literary tradition working as a double.
