Discourse ethics in Habermas

The defender of universality in the moral field must develop the problems connected with the historicity and the conflicting singularity of the morals concerning the life-world. It is our aim to present the universal principles of morality proposed by Jurgen Habermas as part of a course of justification of ethics, in commitment to the morality of indistinct respect, consensual responsibility and solidarity for each one. It is also our aim to understand how the philosopher conciliates a defense of one's autonomy in moral judgment with the expectation of consensus of all people while exercising practical moral speech.
