摘要
A recurrence equation is proposed to calculate the mean end-to-end distance (rn2) of a polymer chain of length n, when we know the mean end-to-end distance of a chain of length n-2 and the mean end-to-end distance (rn2)0 of the class of configurations of the chain n having x = 0 primary contacts between nearby segments. We have established for (rn2)0 equations of the type (rn2)0 = nE where the exponent is a function of n. © 1979, American Chemical Society. All rights reserved.
