摘要
We intend to deal with the concept of will in the tradition that has established itself from the rise of Christianity in the Middle Ages and sophistication at the thought of Duns Scotus. Its main points are: I-the possibility of autonomy of will, freedom II-want this in relation to the contingency of the material world, III-rational and spiritual assumptions that underlie this freedom. We will take the essential intricacies of such a theory to expose, succinct and carefully, the thought of our author focus. We demonstrate that in Scotus theory will be sophisticated and gives basis for the full format of the concept in Modernity.
