摘要：

This paper describes a pulse generator with short rise time (150 ps) and fall time (600 ps). The output level is about five volts. The repetition frequency can vary between few kilo-hertz and three megahertz. The set is realized with step recovery diodes. The principle and the limits imposed by the elements are examined. The measured characteristics of the generator are compared with those given by a theoretical model.
