摘要：
The new subfamily Townesitinae of ichneumon flies is described from the Upper Eocene of the Baltic region. The following new tribes, genera and species are established within this subfamily: Rasnitsynitini including Rasnitsynites tarsalis and Lygurella tibialis and Townesitini including Townesites mandibularis, Marjorietta minor and M. major.
