PHOTOSYNTHESIS, TRANSPIRATION, STOMATAL CONDUCTANCE AND LEAF CHLOROPHYLL CONTENT IN MUSTARD GENOTYPES GROWN UNDER SODIC CONDITIONS

摘要
Eight Brassica nigra genotypes were grown in pot culture under different soil sodicity (10 - 30 ESP). Photosynthetic and transpiration rates, stomatal conductance, chlorophyll content and leaf area per plant were decreased due to soil sodicity. Genotypes tolerant to sodicity showed a lesser reduction in these characteristics.
