摘要
The inelastic scattering of C12+12C to states above the decay threshold into 6α particles has been studied at center-of-mass energies in the range 25-40 MeV. We observe strong resonant behavior in the 02++31- and 02++02+ channels around 32.5 MeV with strikingly enhanced cross sections at 90°in the center of mass. Further measurements suggest that the 02++(03+) channel also resonates in this energy region. These data are compared to recent band crossing model calculations and the shape eigenstate interpretation. © 1995 The American Physical Society.
