摘要
A method of synthesis of anhydrous, high-purity vitrifying zinc chloride is developed which is based on metal melt chlorination in a quartz reactor. A method for refining different hydrated forms of zinc chloride is suggested. The zinc chloride samples obtained were demonstrated to be consistent with the standards for materials used in quantum electronics, e.g., for development and manufacturing of inorganic laser liquids and vitreous materials.
