摘要：
A kinetic study of the solvolysis of a series of furylmethylearbinyl p-nitrobenzoates has been carried out. Substituents in the 5 position exert a profound influence on the rate of solvolysis. Results for six different substituents are satisfactorily correlated by Brown's σ+ substituent constants with ρ -7.5, one of the most negative values for ρ observed in the correlation of solvolysis reactions. © 1969, American Chemical Society.
