摘要
Tertiary brown coals, earthy and xylytic, were sulphonated with 96% sulphuric acid at 60 and 140-degrees-C. Various cations were sorbed on the sulphonated coals by static and dynamic methods. Higher sorption values were obtained on coals sulphonated at 140-degrees-C. Ion exchange capacity, different for particular elements, is comparable with that of some acidic synthetic resins. Selectivity of sorption of cations from mixtures was proved in favour of silver.
