摘要
Pre- and post-treatment measurements of C-reactive protein (CRP) in 85 patients with acute brucellosis were useful in predicting the disease's evolution and response to treatment. A positive value for CRP (>1 μg/dl) was significantly associated with an unfavorable course, with a negative predictive value of 0.95. © 1990.
