摘要
Intracranial self-stimulation behavior (ICSS) in the lateral hypothalamus has been studied in two coisogenic mice groups differing at the albino locus. Heterozygous mice (+/c) had significant lower ICSS thresholds and higher performances than homozygous mice (c/c). Both groups however showed identical sensitivity for the triggering of convulsions suspending ICSS behavior. These results suggest that the albino mutation correlates with some changes in the normal function of the central nervous system. © 1979.
