摘要
In recent years, the Five Factor Model (FFM) has classified multiple personality traits within five dimensions: (1) Openness (2) Conscientiousness (3) Extraversion (4) Agreeableness and (5) Neuroticism. Subsequently, the Five Factor Theory (FFT) has helped understand how the five factors interact within an environment and culture. Also how it impacts in the shaping of attitudes, values and beliefs, and defining Characteristic Adaptations. Most recently it has been suggested that both the FFM and FFT are widely relevant to the study of religion, spirituality and self-esteem. This paper aims to review the background in relation to the link between self-esteem, religiosity and spirituality in the context of the FFM and FFT.
