摘要：
The author comments on an AC method of measuring Faraday rotation described in ibid., vol.1, p.362-4 (1990) which the authors claim to be new. It is suggested that the term 'new' is misleading since essentially the same method has been published elsewhere. Additional checks, which were not performed but easily could have been, are briefly discussed.
