摘要：
A method has been proposed for generating carbon dioxide with a controlled rate of gas liberation via the reaction between sodium hydrocarbonate and sodium hydrosulfate in aqueous solution under the usual conditions. To decelerate the gas liberation, the reaction is carried out in the presence of silica or Teflon. The optimal reaction conditions have been found. The process can be performed automatically.
