摘要
The paper provides experimental findings of the neurotropic activity of hydroxymethylfurfurol (HMF), a product of glucose dehydration in acid media. HMF was found to affect the dopaminergic and adrenergic systems. It has central m-cholinergic and n-cholinergic actions and is prone to cumulative action in terms of the nature of intoxication development.
