QUANTUM ASHKIN-TELLER MODEL AND CONFORMAL THEORY

A simple derivation of the field theory of quantum Ashkin-Teller (AT) model shows that the AT model is equivalent to a complex fermion held. At the critical point, the held equation is conformally covariant. Thus the critical point condition and the normalizing factor xi are given.
