摘要
Describes a reverse flow sensing hot-wire probe based on the principle of detection of the Karman vortex street in the near wake of a circular cylinder. Tests in a laminar separated shear layer point out the limitations of its use in practical situations due to the dependence of vortex shedding on Reynolds number.
