THE FUNSOFT APPROACH TO BUSINESS PROCESS MANAGEMENT

Business Process Reengineering, Process Innovation and related topics dominate the current discussion about efficient organisation structures. A systematic management of business processes requires a rigorous embedding in the enterprise management and therefore a sound methodical foundation. In this article the FUNSOFT approach for an integrated business process management is presented and, moreover, an interface of this approach to an evolutionary incremental enterprise management is examined. FUNSOFT Nets are high level Petri-Nets. They are extended with a set of features for business process modelling. Based on the FUNSOFT Approach the systems CORMAN, LEU, and WIS have been developed. All three systems are briefly described in this paper.
