摘要
The paper concerns the macroscopic flow of hydrogen in a 316 steel and seeks to characterize it by three coefficients: diffusion, permeation and surface reaction. A first objective of the work was to provide estimates of diffusion and permeation coefficients demonstrably independent of surface conditions. Its principal objectives, however, were to characterize the reactions limiting entry of hydrogen into the solid through clean surfaces, to describe them by coefficients, and then to explore the variation in superficial rates caused by controlled oxidation.
