摘要
Electron beam welding (EBW) machines were successfully employed for non-destructive domain refinement (NDDR) of grain oriented 3%Si-Fe. High scan speeds are possible with the EBW systems, but a vacuum is necessary to permit focussing of the beam. The key parameters for characterizing an electron beam scribing trial are the beam current, linear energy density (beam power divided by scan speed), and scribed-line spacing. © 1990 Springer-Verlag New York Inc.
