摘要：
It is shown how large antenna facilities have affected the existing urban environment in many ways, particularly in Japan. It is argued that it is necessary to apply new structural theories and to pay more attention to the urban environment in designing large-scale antenna facilities for big cities. In this article, three representative projects designed according to the new concept, the construction of which was started recently, are introduced.
