摘要
We present the structure and features of a quench code for the analysis of normal operation and safety-relevant transients. The code gives a self-consistent simulation of 3-D quench development in the winding pack of a force-flow cooled coil, including the evolution of the operating current and magnetic field and the change of the helium state at the coil inlet and outlet manifolds due to the transient response of the cryogenic plant.
